Crossville Dragway  April 18, 2017

We are excited to announce the track has secured Michael Dalton (RLC Motorsports), Brian Bourke and Mike Tabors to run the 2017 racing program at Crossville Dragway. Michael Dalton will be acting as General Manager at Crossville Dragway and Mike Tabors will be the Track Manager.  The Chief Operations Officer (COO) / Marketing Director for the facility is Brian Bourke.  Currently the schedule is not set yet for the entire 2017 season but the race track will open for its first Test-N-Tune on May 5th and 6th.  “It is our intention to post a detailed race program towards the end of May. We also will be hosting the RTDS4 event in July as well” – said Michael Dalton.  There are still improvements to be made to the facility through out the year and plans to build a solid race program and special events for 2017 and beyond.

The facility will also be getting set up to sell race fuel in the very near future, it is our intention to create a good support system for racers at the track. The future of Crossville Dragway will be exciting and we are happy to have been able to put together a great team who will grow the racing program at the track. “All my life I have enjoyed racing at Crossville Dragway, I am excited for this new chapter in my life and to reconnect with all the great racers and fans alike”  – Mike Tabors

Mike Tabors – Track Manager

Mike has an extensive history with not only racing but also as business owner. Mike has lived in Monterey,TN for 57 years.  Mr. Tabors started racing at Crossville Dragway when he was just 18 years old. Mike over the years has built a lot of great relationships with racers near and far, His strong point is the understanding of what the racing community wants to see at the track.

Michael is the owner of RLC Motorsports out of Cookeville, TN. Michael’s entire life has been influenced by racing he truly has a passion for the sport and its future. With an extensive background in the sport of drag racing Michael brings a lot of great ideas and knowledge to the table. Michael brought the biggest diesel racing event to Tennessee a few years ago (RTDS) this event has grown by leaps and bounds in just a few short years and is a testament to his ability as General Manager of Crossville Dragway.

Brian Bourke – Chief Operations Officer

Brian has spent many years as a business owner, marketing director and managing a multitude of different projects. He started racing at the age of 14 and has been involved in motorsports ever since. His passion and drive for drag racing as well as seeing a project successfully go the course makes him a great fit as COO.
